Allegany Franciscan Ministries (Allegany) is committed to supporting activities that help to ensure communities are more just, equitable, and caring, and equipped with the resources for everyone to thrive. Allegany will provide a limited number of sponsorships each year for organizations hosting events or activities that align with Allegany’s mission, vision, and values .
Allegany does not provide sponsorships with the expectation of receiving sponsor benefits. When registration slots or seats/tickets are included as a benefit of sponsorship, Allegany may use the benefit, decline the benefit, or share it with community members.
Organizations that serve historically marginalized groups including BIPOC (Black Indigenous, People of Color), LGTBQ+ and or persons with disabilities, and who are designated as tax exempt 501(c)(3) entities by the Internal Revenue Service are eligible to receive sponsorship funds from Allegany. Organizations requesting sponsorships are not required to be an existing or past partner of Allegany’s.
Sponsorships are designed primarily to support statewide or regional initiatives in alignment with our priority areas rather than local initiatives. Organizations aligned with Allegany’s strategic focus will be prioritized.

Applications for sponsorships are accepted on a rolling basis based on availability of funding. It is highly recommended that your organization submit a sponsorship application at least 30 days in advance of the event. Please note that this is a very competitive process which receives many requests.
