Our Values
Allegany is committed to addressing the histories of environmental injustices experienced throughout Florida and developing plans that integrate all community narratives and voices to develop more equitable climate communications, interventions, and policies.
Allegany has a strategic goal to strengthen nonprofit and community organizations in Florida and their leaders, with a focus on historically marginalized communities including BIPOC (Black Indigenous, People of Color), persons with disabilities. And LGTBQ+ indentfied through a diverse array of supports including grantmaking, collaborative funding, cohort models, coaching, professional development scholarships, and other approaches
For twenty-six years, Allegany Franciscan Ministries has partnered and invested in community-based organizations to create more equitable, just, and caring communities.
