Allegany Franciscan Ministries is pleased to offer the following Mission-Inspired Grant Programs. Guidelines, limitations, applications, and review processes vary by program.
Allegany Community Out Reach (ACOR) Grants provide short-term support to projects and organizations that extend the mission and vision of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany. Grants focus on improving health, wellness and quality of life in marginalized communities. Funding is limited to nonprofit organizations directly affiliated with the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany or Allegany Franciscan Associates, or that are a ministry of Trinity Health.
Tau Grants support unrestricted general operating or organizational capacity building needs for organizations that provide services to the following marginalized groups: BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), LGBTQ+, and/or persons with disabilities.
St. Clare grants support activities or projects that support our mission and vision and impact the communities we serve. These may include national, statewide, regional or local advocacy efforts, philanthropic partnerships, nonprofit capacity building, educational, research and planning activities, or disaster response. Direct unsolicited requests are not accepted.
