Education & Training

Brittney Frazier joined Allegany Franciscan Ministries in 2017, initially serving in the role of a Public Health Fellow. Brittney completed a one-year fellowship with Trinity Health, our parent company where she gained broad exposure to the integrated healthcare system. She is now the Director of Leadership. DEI, & Capacity Initiatives. Brittney is responsible for a leading a comprehensive approach to investing Allegany’s financial, social & human capital to strengthen nonprofit and community organizations in Florida and their leaders, with a focus on historically marginalized communities. She also promotes and guides Allegany’s internal and external commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion.

Brittney has an insatiable curiosity and enjoys cultivating relationships with other community based organizations, grant partners and other Philanthropic Practitioners in the sector. She is an alum of several leadership programs including, the Exponent Philanthropy Next Gen Fellows Program, ABFE Connecting Leaders Program, and most recently Leadership St. Pete Class of 2023. She also serves as an ongoing panelist for the Nonprofit Leadership Center Grant Writing Certificate program. Brittney has expansive experience reviewing grant applications for other mission driven organizations & entities such as the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the City of St. Petersburg, the Florida Association of Free & Charitable Clinics, and AmeriCorps State and National Grant programs.

Brittney is a civically engaged community member, a member of the Clearwater Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and volunteers her time with several local nonprofits. During her downtime she loves exploring the food scene in St. Petersburg. Brittney can recommend all of the best eateries in Tampa Bay.

She has an undergraduate degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Central Florida. She has completed graduate certificates in Public Health and Clinical Aging Sciences from the University of South Florida.
