ERIN BAIRD, Director of Grants

Erin has extensive grantmaking experience having worked with Allegany Franciscan Ministries since 2000. As Director of Grants, Erin provides leadership in grantmaking, communications and managing staff. She oversees grant program development and administration. She serves as program officer for the ACOR Grant program working proactively with volunteers and facilitating the ACOR Grant Committee. Erin also serves a program officer for the St Clare Grant program building relationships with key partners and managing grants that support local, regional and statewide nonprofit capacity building, disaster assistance, and collaborative projects that address social determinants of health. Erin supports communications through managing the web site, publishing newsletters and contributing to social media content.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Foreign Service and a master’s degree in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University. Erin has completed the following certificate programs: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace (University of South Florida), Nonprofit Management (University of Tampa), and Franciscan Studies (St. Francis University). Erin continues to fine tune her speaking skills with Toastmasters.

Erin enjoys spending time hiking, traveling and volunteering with Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. She lives in Tampa with her husband and two daughters.
