ERIN BAIRD, Director of Grants
Erin has extensive grantmaking experience having worked with Allegany Franciscan Ministries since 2000. As Director of Grants, Erin provides leadership in grantmaking, communications and managing staff. She oversees grant program development and administration. She serves as program officer for the ACOR Grant program working proactively with volunteers and facilitating the ACOR Grant Committee. Erin also serves as a program officer for the St Clare Grant program building relationships with key partners and managing grants that support our mission and vision and impact the communities we serve. These include national, statewide, regional or local advocacy efforts, philanthropic partnerships, educational or planning activities or disaster response. Erin supports communications through managing the web site, publishing newsletters and contributing to social media content.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Foreign Service with a minor in Environmental Studies and a master’s degree in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University. Erin has completed the following certificate programs: Nonprofit Technology Professional (NTEN), Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace (University of South Florida), Nonprofit Management (University of Tampa), and Franciscan Studies (St. Francis University). Erin continues to fine tune her speaking skills with Toastmasters.
Erin enjoys spending time hiking, traveling and watching soccer. She lives in Tampa with her husband and two daughters.
