Our first cycle of Tau Grants will support Capacity Building. Priority will be given to organizations or programs with a need for Technology Equipment and/or Software Subscription and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training/Social Justice Training.
Grant applications should show how the organization aligns with Allegany Franciscan Ministries’ mission, and address at least one of the social determinants of health. Allegany Franciscan Ministries’ framework for understanding the social determinants of health includes five general categories: education, economic stability, social & community context, health & health care, and neighborhood & built environment.
Requests up to $10,000 will be considered. Organizations with an operating budget of $2 million and over are not eligible for Tau Grants. Please see our website for more information about eligibility and limitations.
